Ever since Pokémon Red and Blue first came out in 1996, there has been no greater honor for a Pokémon Trainer than catching Legendary Pokémon.
The first generation of Pokémon games featured only Legendary Pokémon, and now, by 2022, there will be up to 60 Legendary characters in the entire game series.
Here we’ve compiled everything you need to know about Legendary Pokémon, including what they are, a complete list of all Legendary Pokémon that exist, and the games you can catch them in.

Legendary Pokémon are the rarest and most powerful Pokémon you can catch in the main game series, and are often the “cover” Pokémon for the game you’re playing.
In addition to Legendary Pokémon, there are Mythical Pokémon, which tend to be the rarest species.
Both types are often difficult to catch, and are tied into a creation or destruction story in the associated Pokémon game’s main story.
There are currently 60 legendary characters in the game series, and it can be difficult to know which of these powerful Pokémon belong to which game and the characteristics associated with them.

Since Legendary Pokémon are the hardest to catch in the Pokémon series, it pays to be prepared to learn how to carry and catch them.
As with catching any “regular” Pokémon, your chance of successfully catching a creature depends on factors such as the Pokémon’s health, any status conditions the Pokémon may be subject to, and the type of Pokémon Ball you have. reuse.
Once you engage a Legendary Pokémon, be very careful with the moves you use against it and reduce its health as much as possible before the enemy passes out.
To catch a Pokémon without risking passing out, use moves that deal predictable damage to it – if the Legendary Pokémon is a Fire Pokémon, water moves can be risky as they are too effective.
Another favorite of seasoned trainers is to put Legendary Pokémon to sleep with status-inducing moves—spores or sleep powder are the most reliable. Sleeping Pokémon are easier to catch.
Lastly, use the most powerful Poké Ball you have, but be careful if you have a Master Ball as it guarantees you a catch but is hard to get back in the game.
