In order to celebrate the coronation of Charles III, the British jeweler Yoko London launched a unique platinum diamond pearl headdress, which was inlaid with 19 bright oval natural pearls. The design inspiration came from the “Cambridge Love’s Knot” crown, a wedding gift given to Princess Diana by Queen Elizabeth II, with elegant and luxurious style.
The ‘Cambridge Lover’s Knot’ was commissioned by Queen Mary of England to be produced by Garrard in 1913. It was originally designed with a double row of 38 natural pearls in the shape of water droplets, decorated with heart shaped bow elements in the Gothic Revival style, and later modified to a more minimalist single row of 19 pearls. In November 1981, Princess Diana publicly wore this crown for the first time at the opening ceremony of the British Parliament and became a crown jewel she often wore on formal occasions.
Yoko London’s headwear is adorned with a total weight of nearly 25ct circular bright cut diamonds. The design incorporates the classic heart-shaped bow element of the “Cambridge Lover’s Knot” crown. Each diamond heart-shaped decoration features an elliptical water droplet shaped Australian white pearl, with a maximum diameter of 15mm. The color of each pearl is radiant and bright, complementing the fire of the diamond.

A total of 19 water droplet shaped Australian Nanyang white pearls are embedded, with diameters ranging from 8mm to 15mm. Inlaid with a total weight of 24.97ct circular bright cut diamonds.

The prototype of the Duke of Cambridge Lover’s Knot crown is the crown once owned by the Duchess of Cambridge.
