London designer Tomasz Donocik has just released a new season of jewelry collection – “Pleats”, inspired by the pleated elements in 1920s high-end fashion. The designer cleverly uses custom cut gemstones to create a geometric three-dimensional “pleated” texture, creating excellent visual tension.
The “Pleats” series uses gold to shape the solid geometry structure, like the fold design of the high setting clothing border. The customized cut tea-coloured citrine, yellow crystal , and yellow topaz are inlaid in a gradient color to further enhance the visual three-dimensional effect, and the diamond inlay at the edge outlines the shining outline.
There are 4 new pieces in total – the most eye-catching one is an asymmetric design ring, with an oval green tourmaline main stone surrounded by a pleated structure on one side, resembling a gorgeous skirt; The brooch presents a gradually increasing pleated texture, with white sapphires and round diamonds embedded on both sides, highlighting the three-dimensional pleated shape with sparkling colors; Earrings are reminiscent of thin wooden pieces formed when sharpening pencils, full of visual tension.
