Lebanese designer Clara Chehab has just launched her first jewelry collection, Gaia. Named after the Greek goddess of the earth, the collection incorporates uncut raw stones into its creations, honoring the power of the earth through a fusion of craftsmanship and nature.
The most special feature of the “Gaia” series is the use of uncut gemstone original crystal form as the main stone — you can see hexagonal columnar crystal shape of aquamarine, orange rhombic crystal system of imperial Topaz, as well as triangular columnar crystal growth of tourmaline, amethyst, etc., each of the original stone also has natural growth texture, highlighting the original charm of the gemstone.
Designers use contrasting colors or the same color faceted gems to set off the original stone, the magnificent cut stone fire color and the plain color of the original stone — imperial Topa stone with circular cut orange and yellow sapphire, aquamarine stone with an oval cut sapphire, green tourmaline with pink sapphire, to show a rich visual level.
A total of 12 pieces are made up of polished rose or gold materials — the Bombee ring’s wide ring wall is heavily inlaid with bright cut diamonds and sapphires, and two diamond lines anchor an aquamarine raw stone, as if growing naturally from the ring wall; The Moon necklace and the single pendant are composed of semicircle and irregular patterns, which are inspired by ancient primitive amulets.
